You Don’t Need to Know How to Pose — That’s MY Job

Almost every single person who walks into my studio says some version of this: “I don’t know what I’m doing.” “I’m super awkward in photos.” “I’m not photogenic.” “I’m gonna need help.” And you know what I say?

GOOD!

Because guess what? That’s my job. That’s what you’re paying me for.

You are not supposed to know how to pose. You don’t need to be a model, you don’t need to have a “good side,” and you definitely don’t need to know where the hell your hands are supposed to go. You just need to show up. I’ve got you from there.

You Bring the Vibe. I’ll Handle the Rest.

From your first nervous laugh to your last smoldering stare, I’m going to guide you through the entire experience. We’ll move together, moment by moment, so you’re never left standing in front of my camera wondering, “Okay… what am I supposed to do now?”

That’s where my posing coaching comes in.

I’m watching everything. Your hands, your feet, your hips, your shoulders, your chin, your expression, the way the light is hitting you, and all those tiny little adjustments that can completely transform an image. You don't have to think about any of that. You get to relax and let me do what I do.

That's my job.

And honestly, watching someone go from nervous to completely in their element is one of my favorite parts of this entire experience.

Because the magic isn't in knowing how to pose perfectly. The magic happens when you finally stop worrying about whether you're doing it “right.”

At first, you might be nervous. You might laugh. You might feel a little ridiculous. You might wonder what the hell you signed up for. And that's okay! I've been doing this long enough to know that those first few minutes don't tell me anything about how amazing your final images are going to be.

Eventually, something shifts.

You stop thinking about the camera. You start feeling yourself. The walls come down, the confidence kicks in, and suddenly I start seeing that woman who has been hiding underneath all that overthinking.

That's when the fire shows up.

That's when the confidence starts coming through in your images. And that's when you look at the back of my camera and think, “Oh. Damn. That's me.”

You Can't Mess This Up

I hear women worry all the time that they're going to be awkward, look silly, or somehow “mess up” their photos.

You can't mess this up.

You are not walking into my studio for a modeling audition. You're walking into an experience where you're going to be guided, coached, hyped up, and taken care of.

You could show up in a robe, hair in a bun, heart pounding like a drum, and have absolutely no idea what you're supposed to do with your hands. We've got this.

I'll make sure the lighting is working for you. I'll find the angles that flatter you. I'll guide your body into poses that feel natural and look incredible. I'll hype you up like your favorite playlist. And I'll be there every step of the way.

So if you've been sitting on the sidelines thinking, I don't know how to pose. I'll look awkward. I'm not photogenic. I could never do that…. Let that shit go. You weren't supposed to know how.

That's why I'm here.

Because the real magic isn't the pose. It's the transformation. It's that moment when you see your images and realize that the woman staring back at you isn't some professional model.
