You lost the weight. Now let’s celebrate your new body.
You lost the weight. Maybe it was GLP-1s like Ozempic or Wegovy. Maybe it was tirzepatide, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, or years of grinding it out one healthy choice at a time. However you got here, you got here. And now you're standing in front of a mirror looking at a body that did something incredible, and all you can see is the skin that didn't quite catch up.
I hear it every single week in our Washington, PA studio.
"I love the new me. But only with clothes on."
"I still see the old me when I look in the mirror."
If either of those sentences just hit you in the chest, I want you to keep reading. Because I've photographed the woman who said them, more than once, and I've watched her walk out of this studio seeing herself completely differently than she walked in.
The Part Nobody Warns You About
Everyone celebrates the number on the scale. Nobody prepares you for what's underneath once it's gone. Loose skin after major weight loss is one of the most common things my clients are quietly ashamed of, and one of the least talked about parts of the whole journey. You did the work. You showed up for yourself in a way most people never do. And instead of feeling proud, you're avoiding mirrors, avoiding your partner's hands, avoiding swimsuits, avoiding anything that shows the skin you worked so hard to change.
That disconnect between what you accomplished and what you see is exhausting. You're not vain for struggling with it. You're human.
This Is Exactly Who Boudoir Is For
I built this studio for women in this exact moment. Not the women who already feel confident and just want a fun photo. The women who need proof that the body carrying them through this transformation is still worth celebrating, loose skin and all.
Here's what I need you to understand before you talk yourself out of booking: I do not alter bodies. Every image I deliver is authentically you; the real texture, the curves, the real lines, the real story your skin is telling. What changes the photo isn't just a slider in editing software. It's posing that works with your body instead of against it. It's lighting that sculpts instead of exposes. It's lingerie and outfits chosen and fitted specifically for where you are right now, not where you were three years ago. That combination is the entire craft of boudoir, and it's why women leave here saying the photos don't even look retouched. They aren't. They're just taken by someone that specializes in boudoir photography.
What Your Session Actually Looks Like
You don't have to figure any of this out alone. Here's the plan:
We talk first. Before a single photo is taken, we talk through what you're self-conscious about and what you're proud of. Nothing about your body surprises me. I've seen it all, and I mean that as comfort, not a brush-off.
We choose outfits that work for your body today. Not the body from your before photos. This one. I'll guide you if you're not sure what will photograph well.
I pose and light you with intention. Every angle, every hand placement, every light source is chosen to show you at your most powerful, without hiding who you are.
You see yourself differently, often for the first time in years. This is the moment I do this job for.
The Woman in These Photos
The images alongside this post are all the same client, captured across one session. What you're looking at is what good posing, good lighting, and well-fitted styling can do, working with the exact body she has now. She trusted the process. She's proof it works.
And if you’re unfamiliar, a RAW photo is an image that is uploaded straight out of the camera without any editing done. So, this is a RAW photo of the woman unposed, a RAW photo that I took of her posed well, and then the edited version where I color correct, enhance eyes, shine hair, and gently soften skin texture…. but never body alter.
You Don't Owe Anyone a "Finished" Body
Loose skin isn't a flaw you need to fix before you're allowed to feel beautiful. It's evidence. It's the receipt for the work you already did. You don't need to wait for a tummy tuck, a body contouring procedure, or some imaginary finish line before you deserve to see yourself in a way that feels powerful.
The two things I hear most, "I love the new me but only with clothes on" and "I still see the old me in the mirror," both come from the same place: you haven't yet seen proof that the current version of you is worth showing off. That's what a session here gives you. Proof.
You did the hardest part already. Let's document what it actually looks like to make it out the other side.
You deserve this! And I’m here to talk you through every step of your session.
We will have a Zoom meeting before your session to plan out the whole day, from wardrobe options, bedsheet colors, bonus sets, and the timeline of the session.
Readiness isn’t a feeling, it’s a decision. Fill out the form, below, book a call, and we will chat about your journey and a session date for you!
Where This Happens
This studio is located in Washington, PA, just south of Pittsburgh, inside the historic George Washington Hotel. We're close enough for a same-day visit from Wheeling and Morgantown, WV, and we regularly welcome women driving in from Columbus, Dayton, and across Ohio, as well as Maryland and beyond. Plenty of our clients fly in from further out and make a full weekend of it. Wherever you're starting from, a session here is worth the trip.
